Project:
This site is for students interested in urban parish ministry. It is an inner-city, all black church with lots of involvement in the Roxbury and Dorchester communities. Emphasis will be placed on A.M.E. church polity, worship, church administration, religious education and community involvement.
Student
Involvement: Students will be expected to attend and participate in Sunday School and worship services on Sundays, participate in one of our community programs at least one weekday, attend monthly board meetings, and occasional denominational meetings.
Arts of Ministry Competencies:
Preaching and Worship.
Religious Education and Spiritual Development.
Administration and Program Development.
Denominational Polity.
Supervision: The student will meet with the pastor one hour a week for one-to-one supervision. S/he will also be expected to attend staff meetings with other students, ministerial staff and the Pastor monthly.

Total Stipend: $4,000.00

Notes: Monthly travel stipend is available.
