Questionnaire for History, Social Studies, English, Literature
and Religion/Religious Studies Teachers
Directions: This questionnaire has two parts. Part One is for
all teachers and Part Two is for those who teach one or more courses
that address religion directly in either minor or major ways.
For example, literature courses may include texts that have religious
themes or dimensions and some history courses may address religion
in a particular unit (the Puritans, the rise of Islam, etc.).
Other courses may focus on a religious text or the study of religion
itself (Bible as Literature, Introduction to Comparative Religions,
etc.). Please complete Part One and continue on to Part Two if
applicable. (After completing Part One, press "Submit"
and a dialogue box will appear, with further directions for Part
Two.) Your feedback is essential for the success of this study,
even if you don't teach any courses related to religion.
Depending on the types of classes you teach, the questionnaire
should take between 10 and 30 minutes to complete.
Participants can choose to fill out the questionnaire in one
of the following ways: 1) Complete it online here 2) Complete
the PDF questionnaire by hand and send it by post or fax to: Diane
