Program in Religious Studies and Education (PRSE)

The Program in Religious Studies and Education is a teacher education program at Harvard Divinity School. Students who complete the program earn either a master of theological studies or a master of divinity degree and a license to teach in one or more of a variety of disciplines at the secondary school level. Graduates are able to appropriately integrate the academic study of religion within their secondary school discipline (history, English, social studies, etc.).

Religious Studies in Secondary Schools (RSiSS)

Religious Studies in Secondary Schools is a coalition of public and private secondary school teachers committed to the idea that education is not complete without the academic study of the world's religious traditions and the ethical values, literatures, and cultures so inextricably linked to them. RSiSS sponsors a number of workshops and offers numerous resources on its website.

Council for Spiritual and Ethical Education (CSEE)

The Council for Spiritual and Ethical Education supports the moral and spiritual development of young people in independent schools by offering state-of-the-art programs and resources for moral and spiritual development and the teaching of the world's religious traditions. Information about CSEE's mission and activities may be found on its website.
