First Images of Jesus Christ: Earliest Christologies of the New Testament

Description
Will discuss the earliest forms of Christology and their history. Starting from the Jewish messianic expectations of the first century C.E., it will investigate the prophetic perspective of Jesus and christological concepts of the first Christian congregations. Prerequisite: Introduction to the New Testament or the equivalent.
