Introduction to Hermeneutics and Theology

Description
General introduction to hermeneutical theory. A survey of the development from classical to modern and contemporary hermeneutics. The course will examine the influence of contemporary hermeneutical theory upon the interpretation of biblical texts, the diverse conceptions of theology, and the explication of key theological categories such as revelation, experience, method, foundations, classics, community, and practice.
