Spiritual Formation and the Life of Study: Seminar

Stephanie Paulsell

Description

This course will explore the points of intersection between intellectual work and spiritual practice, between the practical arts of ministry and academic study, and between the contemplative and active dimensions of the vocations of ministers, teachers and scholars. Special attention will be given to reading, writing, teaching, learning, and interpretation as spiritually formative practices. Students who wish to explore the place of study in the work of the minister and those who wish to explore the spiritual dimension of the work of the teacher and scholar are all welcome.
