Description
This introductory course (previously Introduction to Pastoral Care and Counseling) focuses on developing an understanding of the basic psychological concepts and clinical skills necessary for effective spiritual care and counseling. Contemporary challenges encountered by spiritual caregivers as facilitators of healing and growth with individuals and communities across religious traditions are examined. Prerequisite: prior field education or related experience.
