Harvard Divinity School will convene the 11th session of the annual Summer Leadership Institute from June 16 to June 27, 2008. The Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) is a cutting-edge training program for clergy and lay leaders from across the country who are involved in faith-based community and economic development.

Applicants to the 2008 session of the Summer Leadership Institute will be notified of admission decisions by letter after Wednesday, April 23, 2008.

The fall 2007 issue of the SLI Report is available. The SLI Report began publication in 2006, as a way of marking SLI's 10th anniversary in summer 2007. Please read the latest issue, or browse back issues for more news.

The Rev. Charles G. Adams, one of the most prominent and dynamic ministers in the United States, has joined Harvard's Faculty of Divinity as the first William and Lucille Nickerson Professor of the Practice of Ethics and Ministry. A long-time supporter, lecturer, and friend of the SLI, Adams began his five-year term on the HDS faculty on July 1, 2007.
