**Memorable Moment**

My most memorable moments at HDS center around our yearly construction of the Sukkah for the Jewish festival of Sukkot. Sharing the responsibilty for this ritual was a joyous, at times frustrating, but ultimately immensely rewarding activity. Sitting in the structure that we had lovingly labored to bring to life for festive meals, study times, and impromptu chats with classmates while friends of all denominations and religons filtered in and out engendered a deep gratitude for the unique warmth and diversity of the HDS community.

**Favorite Class or Professor**

My favorite class was "Twins and Twinship" with Professor Patton. The theme of twinning or doubling had no particular hold on my attention prior to enrolling, yet over the course of a semester of comparative readings of mythologies from a diverse selection of cultures, it slowly infiltrated my mind and become a foundational framework through which I approach new texts and ideas. This encapsulated the power of the study of religion that I had hoped to experience at HDS - eye-opening, paradigm-shifting notions that cultivate a sensitivity that finds resonance wherever I look.
