**How I've Changed**

Since I began my studies at HDS, I have undergone significant personal and academic growth. As a writer, researcher, and student, I have been fortunate to immerse myself in historical scholarship in profound and provocative ways. It's difficult to fully express just how much my understanding of history, religion, and the ever-changing world has expanded as a result of my experiences here. The values that have been imparted to me during my time at HDS will undoubtedly stay with me for the rest of my life, and I am eager to apply what I have learned to positively impact the world around me.

**Message of Thanks**

I would like to express my deep gratitude to my advisor and professor, Dr. Catherine Brekus, for her invaluable mentorship, which has been critical to my growth as a student, writer, and researcher. Additionally, I would like to thank Dr. Jocelyne Cesari and Dr. Diana Eck, whose guidance and support have been instrumental in shaping my academic interests. Lastly, I want to thank my fiancé, paper-editor and greatest advocate, Bennett, for moving across the country with me so that I could pursue my dreams at HDS. I am doubtful I would have succeeded without his unwavering support.

**What I Hope to Be Remembered By**

My aspiration is to be remembered as a dedicated and engaged student, as well as a reliable friend. Throughout my time at HDS, I have always been enthusiastic to learn from those around me, and I hope that this eagerness has been evident in my interactions with others.
