**How I've Changed**

I grew up as a human being and a scholar. Personally, HDS has given me the confidence to understand and know that I do matter. (I know it's weird that I did not think that before!) Scholarly, I now have skills that will allow me to forge my scholar's path forward—either at an institution or independently.

**Message of Thanks**

I would like to thank Professors Stephen Shoemaker, Parimal Patil, and David Lamberth for showing they really cared about me. I also want to send a shout-out to Beth O'Flaherty in the Office of Financial Aid. I could not have started at or graduated from HDS without her help!

**What I Hope to Be Remembered By**

I'll probably be remembered by NEVER being on the HDS Campus!
