## How I've Changed

Since coming to HDS, I feel like I am more connected to the intuitive pace of my body and the natural world around me. I now give myself permission to slow down and to recognize the wisdom that comes from the space of presence.

## Memorable Moment

My most memorable moment at HDS is the 2024 Garden Disco Ball. Dancing alongside my beloved friends and classmates where we all felt free, alive, and safe in the community together was such a fun and playful moment to round out my time here.

## Favorite Class or Professor

My favorite class was "Dancing Diaspora: Black Feminist Art and Practice," with Professor Elyan Hill, a visiting scholar with the HDS Women's Studies in Religion Program. Her class opened a new way of seeing, weaving together dance and the body as a multivalent site of religion, decolonial resistance, and Indigenous survivance.

## Message of Thanks

I want to thank my beautiful friends, the garden, Leslie MacPherson, the turkeys, and the guardians of the land past, present, and future - human and otherwise!

## What I Hope to Be Remembered By

My hope is to be remembered as someone committed to being a kind and safe presence for my classmates, as well as someone open to learning and growing from my mistakes.

## Future Plans

My plans for the future are to continue building a life that I fall more in love with each day, just as I have learned to do here at HDS.
