I remember a guest speaker in one of my classes at Harvard Divinity School saying that an HDS education is powerful because it’s not just about academics; it’s also about learning to be engaged in the world. I often recall these words when I’m on the ground helping people in countries vastly different from the United States. Every time I serve others, my HDS education serves me.
