Graduate Profile: Maggie Helmick, MTS '23
How I've Changed
The growth I’ve experienced at HDS, both personal and academic, has been beyond anything I ever expected. My time here has taught me so much about who I am, who I want to be, and what I am capable of. This school has changed my orientation towards my own life and how I step out into and experience the world around me.
Message of Thanks
I will be forever grateful to my family and my partner for their unending support of me through this process. As my editors, my guidance counselors, my cheerleaders, and my best friends, I could not have made it to this point without them. I am also incredibly grateful for the wonderful teachers I have been lucky enough to learn from at HDS, including Dr. Kimberley Patton and Dr. Giovanna Parmigiani, both of whom helped me find my direction as well as my voice. Finally, I could not be more thankful to this beautiful community of people as a whole for making me feel heard, appreciated, and at home.
What I Hope to Be Remembered By
I hope to be remembered as a curious, respectful, and enthusiastic learner who engaged with an open heart and an open mind.
