Community Life & Student Services
Community Life encompasses the breadth and depth of student experiences at the Harvard Divinity School. Student Services—comprised of the Offices of Student Life, Religious and Spiritual Life, Student Support, and Career Services—supports and resources the student experience.
Collectively, our offices work to provide advising, coaching, and support related to students’ academic, personal, spiritual and religious, community and co-curricular, and professional needs and goals.
Student Services is also responsible for helping students understand, navigate, and comply with many HDS and University policies and procedures that impact students’ experiences in and outside of the classroom.
Student Life
HDS holistically supports students both in and outside the classroom. Students have access to many personal and academic resources and diverse opportunities for community involvement.
Religious and Spiritual Life
The world's many religions and spiritual traditions are practiced as much as they are studied at HDS, with astonishing variety, texture, criticism, love, and devotion.
Student Support
The Office of Student Support provides guidance and resources to help students navigate academic, personal, health, and other concerns. They also oversee HDS accessibility services for students and the process for disability accommodations.
Career Services
The HDS Office of Career Services develops programs and tools for career management and for navigating the job search process while at HDS and beyond.
