Graduate Profile: Naomi Fastovsky, MTS '23

Message of Thanks  

I would like to thank all the people who have made my time at HDS one of the most fulfilling and exciting periods of my life (and the list is lengthy). First, all of my professors—without exception—have made my studies here incredibly impactful. Special thanks to Professor Robson for his support and for being the inspirational scholar and person that he is, to Professor Hallisey for dropping worldview-changing nuggets of wisdom (and jokes!) on a dime, and to Susie Hayward for her passion, compassion, and drive. My peers both in and outside the classroom are deserving of the most gratitude for being wonderful role models, intellectual inspirations, and friends. Shout-out to the wifey Leren for everything, Yisi and Love for being the most wonderful people, Chloe and Camilla for constantly enriching my perspective, Drew and Josh for the best of times and everyone else, you know who you are. Lastly, my family who don't understand why I study religion but support, listen to, and are proud of me nonetheless.
