Graduate Profile: Olivia Catherine Hastie, MTS '24

Favorite Class or Professor 

My favorite class at HDS was "Religion and Reproductive Politics" with WSRP fellow, Dr. Samirah Mehta. The classroom community was fantastic and Dr. Mehta cultivated a space where each member of the class could speak freely and be respected. I learned so much from my colleagues in that class and often wished that it could have been a year-long course!

Message of Thanks  

I would love to thank literally every person who has mentored and accompanied me throughout the last two years. I am so grateful to every professor, friend, and family member who guided me through my time at HDS.  

Future Plans 

In the fall, I am starting the PhD program in theological ethics at Boston College!
