How I've Changed

My time at HDS has changed my perspective about other faith traditions and I am leaving with the wondering about if there is only one name under heaven by which "you shall be saved!" I have also learned to be more compassionate and gracious with people; more affirming and accepting of people's beliefs and orientations.

Memorable Moment

My most memorable moment at HDS was in my final semester, Spring 2024, when I went on a study tour with my class, to South Carolina and Georgia. I had an immersive, historically conscious, and spiritually awakening experience learning about the history of slavery in American South.

Favorite Class or Professor

Every class I offered at HDS impacted me in a unique way. My favorite were Leadership and Administration with Professor Crowley and Africana Religions and Healing in the American South with Dr. Hucks and Dean Bartholomew.

Message of Thanks

"I thank the Lord God Almighty for seeing me through my studies. I appreciate the Ancestors of the land for letting me stay, and my Ancestors for accompanying me. I honor my wife for her patience with me these past twenty months, and for her unwavering all-round support. I thank my mother for urging all along. I appreciate all the professors that taught me and everyone I met, the staff who supported me, and my classmates. I owe profound gratitude to my recommenders, and my Academic Advisor for guiding me through."

What I Hope to Be Remembered By

Future Plans

HDS has further equipped me, and I am now more inspired to go back to my ministry in the Temple of Justice. I will be working as a private attorney and also running my non-profit, Keep Hope Alive Nigeria.
