How I've Changed 

Being at HDS has helped to remind me that life, at times, is supposed to be messy. That if we only live for the clarity we enjoy when upon life's peaks, we will not have the eyes to sense the beauty that exists in its shadows. My time at Harvard has helped me develop this sight.

Favorite Class or Professor

My favorite professors were Shaul Magid and Elliot Wolfson, whose unending wisdom and compassion has helped me to navigate my personal and academic interest in the Jewish mystical tradition. As mentors and role models, they have been the greatest influences for discerning my vocational calling.

Message of Thanks 

I would first like to thank my parents, who have supported the pursuit of my interests and cultivated my curiosity for my entire life. I would like to thank my professors for their insights and encouragements. A special thanks to Shaul Magid, Elliot Wolfson, Amy Hollywood, and Matthew Dillon for offering me their time and energy while I applied to PhD programs. Finally, I want to give a huge thank you to my friends, both old and new, who have seen me through the ups and downs of my HDS journey. More than anything, I will miss laughing with you all.

Future Plans

I will be starting my PhD in Religion at Rice University beginning in the fall of 2025.
