How I've Changed

It's hard to put into words how I've changed since starting at HDS, because aside from deep intellectual growth, I feel there is a vastness to the background of my life that has slowly expanded over my time here. It's as though the landscape through which I perceive my life has gotten richer, kinder, and more complex.

Memorable Moment

What I will remember most is a collage of simple moments: walking through the halls or sitting in the cafe, feeling guilty because I need to read, but being too engrossed in conversation to leave.

Message of Thanks

I am immensely grateful to so many folks at HDS. I truly appreciate the mentorship and learning friendships of Charles Hallisey, Charlie Stang, and Dean Teddy. I continue to feel inspired by my classes with Teren Sevea and Giovanna Parmigiani. Thank you to the Office of Ministry Studies for your support and kindness. Thank you for the Plant Consciousness Reading Group. Thank you to the Office of Student Life and to Eddie, our incredible security and community facilitator. Thank you to the Ecstatic Dance community. Your wildness and play have been a source of nourishment. Deepest respect and thanks to my classmates and friends. Your brilliance and commitment to goodness have left a lasting impression on my soul.

Future Plans

Next year, I will work as a research assistant at HBS, researching organizations that use spirituality and inner work to approach the polycrisis. I will also continue to deepen my role as a Soul Making Dharma minister and will run a community conscious dance space.
