“I’ve come to understand that holiness isn’t reserved for extraordinary people or grand gestures—it’s found in doing small acts with great love.”
How I've Changed
Since starting at HDS, I’ve learned to encounter God not just in church, but in the little moments of each day. Through St. Thérèse of Lisieux’s “Little Way,” I’ve come to understand that holiness isn’t reserved for extraordinary people or grand gestures—it’s found in doing small acts with great love. This way of simplicity, humility, kindness, and presence has changed my ministry. By following Thérèse’s example and surrendering to God like a daughter in her Father’s arms, I’ve experienced a peace and love that surpasses all understanding, even in the mundane everyday.
Message of Thanks
I give all thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; He has blessed me with the best family and friends I could ever ask for. Thank you to my parents, Susan and Barry Ford, for always believing in me and being my greatest cheerleaders; my brother, Jameson Ford, for always cracking me up; my best friend, Elizabeth Burns, for being my HDS buddy since day one; and my boyfriend, Taylor Sheldon, for the endless support. I love you all more than words could ever express!
