Graduate Profile: Thomas W. McConkie, MDiv '25
Thomas W. McConkie, MDiv '25
“I've read thousands of pages of rich reflection on the world's wisdom traditions, and I've written hundreds of pages in response to the materials and experiences I've been exposed to here.”
How I've Changed
I've met more beautiful souls than I can count, including my baby daughter who was born at Mount Auburn Hospital during my time here. I've read thousands of pages of rich reflection on the world's wisdom traditions, and I've written hundreds of pages in response to the materials and experiences I've been exposed to here. Hopefully, above all, I'm living a little bit more in alignment with the Life, Love and Light that the traditions so abundantly flow.
Favorite Class or Professor
Too many to name—Stephanie Paulsell's uncanny ability to make the soul visible and tangible in the simplest of utterances, Terry Tempest Williams' coyote energy and taste for revolution, Charlie Stang's unabashed surrender to the imaginal realm, wherever the angels may lead him.
Future Plans
To listen attentively to the calls of the dead, the unborn, and the more-than-human, who are all teaching me to walk the earth in new ways.
