How I've Changed

HDS has been a truly healing place for me, with a beautiful campus and wonderful, thoughtful professors and classmates. In this environment, I gradually found clarity about my values and future path. I’ve both grown academically and found more inner stability.

Message of Thanks

I would like to thank Professor David C. Lamberth and Professor David F. Holland for their incredible academic mentorship throughout my master's program. The guidance I received from Dr. Yunus Kumek and denominational counselor Chris Berlin has also been inspiring for my personal development. I am also thankful to my field education supervisors, Dr. Marian Simion and Rev. Larisa Waya, for their support during my internship. Lastly, I want to thank all the friends and family who have encouraged me to live as it goes.

What I Hope to Be Remembered By

I hope to be remembered as someone who looks for meaning through thinking and writing. Writing has helped me rebuild my sense of self. I hope the thoughts and courage that came from reading and writing will keep supporting me as I move toward a freer life.
