Information for Media Attending HDS Commencement

Reporters and photographers who wish to cover HDS Commencement must first receive approval from the HDS Office of Communications. Contact Tyler Sprouse, tsprouse@hds.harvard.edu.

Filming is not permitted by members of the media during Commencement without approval from the HDS Office of Communications.

Tripods and monopods are not permitted anywhere on the HDS campus during Commencement.

Conducting interviews is not permitted on HDS property during Commencement activities.

HDS Communications’ priority is to not obstruct the views of graduates and families who are celebrating that day. Reporters and photographers covering Commencement must arrive and be seated before the program begins and remain seated throughout the exercises.
