Wireless Networking and Printing

How to connect to a wireless network

Wireless Internet access is available throughout the HDS campus for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. For a list of the available wireless networks at HDS and instructions on how to connect to them, please visit the Harvard Wireless website. Members of the Harvard community with a valid HarvardKey can authenticate to the "Harvard Secure" network; others can register for guest access using the "Harvard University" wireless network.

Printing

HDS provides four color printers for use by Harvard students and guests. (For a complete list of HDS printers, including those accessible only to HDS faculty and staff, see Find your Crimson Print printer.) The four printers open to students and guests are located in:

Students, faculty, and staff may print from the public computers in the Harvard Divinity School Library or from their own devices after installing the necessary software. If using your own computer, tablet, or mobile device, you must be connected to Harvard Secure wireless to install or use Crimson Print. Students will need to add funds to their Crimson Print accounts in advance to pay for printing.

Library borrowers, library access card holders, alumni, and guests must use the designated "guest printing" computer in the HDS Library; register for a Crimson Print account; and add funds to the account in advance to pay for printing. Detailed instructions are provided below.

Note: the instructions above are for printing from public computers or personal devices. For HDS faculty and staff, including student employees using Harvard-managed computers, please see the Technology FAQ on the HDS intranet (HarvardKey login required).
